How do I Join?

Download the membership application , print it and mail to the address indicated along with your membership fee and a copy of the map showing your cottage location. Please note that to print a copy of the membership application you'll need a copy of Adobe's Acrobat Reader, available through the link at the left of the page. To print a Cognashene map showing your cottage location click on the Map link at the left then click on the section of map where your cottage is located. Print the page and mark your cottage location.

We welcome you and your family to the Association and look forward to your participation.  We know that your enjoyment of the Bay will be enhanced by your membership. Why be a Member?

The Cognashene Cottagers’ Association is one of the most active cottage associations in providing not only recreation activities for its members, but a strong voice in planning and environmental issues.  The Board, through partnership with the Georgian Bay Association and the Township of Georgian Bay, monitors, advises and advocates on behalf of the membership.

The Board of Directors is comprised of your neighbors who have volunteered their time and expertise to preserve and enhance your enjoyment of our Bay and to assist the membership in building a strong sense of community.

Your membership will provide you with a voice in the planning for our community and involve you in an active and vibrant community.  We are the stewards of one of the most beautiful cottage areas.  Your membership and voice will help to ensure that it stays that way.
