Past Activities:
Town Council voted unanimously to approve our Official Plan
Amendment at the Town Council meeting held on October 16, 2006 and the District of Muskoka approved the OPA on January 22, 2007. The appeal period has expired and the OPA is now official.

OPA itself and 2 attached schedules (which are maps of the area). The maps are
1.5MB and 4.7MB in size (Sch D3-1 and Sch D3-2 respectivly). The files are only

In March of 2006 PLANSCAPE and the Cognashene Cottagers' Association Stategic Planning Group (SPG) prepared and distributed a survey to all households within the Cognashene area. The surveys were returned by April 18th and the results of the survey were tabulated and analyzed by PLANSCAPE. Their report, presenting the results of this survey, is available for download by clicking this link. The report is 2.16 Mbytes in size and is in Acorbat pdf format.
On Feburary 05, 2006 the CCA held a workshop to review the issues and options of establishing a community plan. A presentation was made by PLANSCAPE and the attendees then broke up into groups to discuss sereval themes.
